AUDIONET G2 PRE & AMP - REVIEW
The Audionet PRE G2 preamp and AMP monoblocks are velvet hammers. Should the program material require them to access the stygian depths of the Holy-Bass-Head-Grail, they will take you there swiftly, as it is a path they know well. And in this respect, the Audionet PRE G2 preamp and AMP monoblocks are hammers.
HEED THESIS LAMBDA PREAMPLIFIER AND GAMMA AMPLIFIER - REVIEW
We are hard pressed to think of separates at this price point that perform as well as the Heed Thesis components. The Gamma has more than enough power to drive the Spendor A2 speakers we used, and we loved the volume range available on the preamp. For those upgrading from an integrated amplifier and looking to delve into the world of separates, the Heed gets our highest recommendation!
THE MOLA MOLA KULA INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER - REVIEW
The Mola Mola Kula integrated amplifier is, to our ears, a state of the art in one box amplification solution. The rich midrange, the perfectly articulated and controlled bass, along with the amp’s overall grip on the music and speakers, makes it one of the great integrated amps of our time, and we have heard a few.
DAYENS AUDIO- REVIEW
The Serbian designed and built Dayens Ampino preamplifier and mono block amplifiers deliver a heck of a lot of good sound for their modest prices. The preamp is a no-nonsense clean sounding, transparent linestage, and the amplifiers will drive most speakers without breaking a sweat. Both sets of products do benefit from good cabling and proper placement.
SCHITT FREYA+ PREAMPLIFIER - REVIEW
American firm Schiit Audio is one of the most unique companies in the HiFi industry. They sell direct only, save for one storefront in Los Angeles, called..The Schiitr. They design and build all their products in their California location.
AUDIONET DNP/EPX -REVIEW
The Audionet EPX merged with the DNP in ways both commanding and rather spectacular that I would never have imagined. The pairing carried its weight and then some, in every system in which it was employed, with none of the earlier concerns. In fact, they had all become reversals—complete opposites of what they had been with just Audionet DNP. Meaning?
ROGUE AUDIO RP-5 TUBE PREAMPLIFIER - REVIEW
The Rogue RP-5, at $3500, is a tremendous value. The field in that price range is rather crowded for tubed components, but we believe Rogue has a real class leader here. The sonics are outstanding, and the build is off the charts good. What sets the RP-5 apart is the coupling of great sound with a treasure trove of features.
